Joe Lanzisero, the creative genius behind Disney's popular Duffy the Bear, has swapped his Imagineer hat for a writer's brush pen, pouring all his playful creativity into whimsical tales. His latest creation, Lemonade the Yellow Bear, follows the success of his charming book "The Cat's Baton is Gone." Echoing his cheery motto: "If it ain't fun, it ain't done," Joe's books feature enchantment, humor, and the same magic that's become his trademark at Disney.

With a career spanning over 37 years at Disney, Joe Lanzisero is the former Senior Vice President of Disney Imagineering and the creative force behind many of Disney's most cherished spaces. His work includes iconic attractions such as Mickey's Toon Town, Splash Mountain, and Toy Story Land. Joe's expertise in creating experiences that captivate both children and adults shines through in every page of his new book.

When asked about his passion for art, Joe shared this insight:

"Drawing, designing, and making music still bring me the same joy as when I was a child. For me, art is about communicating an idea with deep emotional connection. It doesn't matter what the delivery device might be — it could be a musical instrument, it could be a painting, it could be the written word, it could be a sculpture — but in all cases, there should be an idea behind it and you should be presenting that idea in a way that will get people to think or laugh or cry, etc."

This philosophy is beautifully embodied in Lemonade the Yellow Bear, a character sure to spark imagination and bring smiles to readers of all ages.

Today, Joe is a proud grandfather and spends his time traveling the world with his wife Monika, who is also an esteemed artist. He continues to write, draw, and of course, have fun! With Lemonade the Yellow Bear, Joe invites us all to see the world through a lens of creativity and joy, proving that the Disney magic he helped create for decades can live on in our homes and hearts, all through this cute yellow bear.
